So apparently I cannot keep up with a blog everyday! Things have been so crazy lately.. school, work, sleep, eat and repeat! I will get back to that 30 day thing later but for right now I just can't swing it.
I finally came to a conclusion that I am content with everything that has been going on. Growing up has not always been easy but- I am coming to terms with the way things are and couldn't be happier! I am currently in a weird in between stage where I have no idea where I will be in a year! JJ is looking at jobs in the Raleigh area and thinking of opportunities at Cherry Point too. I have limited places where I can do my internship as well and even though things seem out of my control- I don't mind for once.
Off to work!!

Day eight - A picture of your future spouse
This is a picture from the first day I truly fell head over heels for my man, JJ Regan!
I don't even know where to start with comment on him and the impact he has had on my life. The first time him and I ever hung out when we were "talking", I knew he was a trip when he dropped me off at my car after we went and picked out our corsage/boutonniere and he hopped out of his car and blasted "Beat It" by Michael Jackson and had us start dancing, in the middle of the daylight with people even around. We went to the prom that weekend together and I remember the first time we kissed we were slow dancing to Keysha Cole's "Love". I can't forget how many butterflies I had in my stomach when I realized we were about to kiss...and even though the road to where we are hasn't always been smooth, that feeling I have never been able to shake.
The past four years (soon to be five years in April!) really have gone by so fast! Through the long distance we went through for two years while he was up here at college (still got to see him every weekend!) to moving up to college and dealing with such a time that our lives were changing in so many ways- we stuck together. After we moved in together in January of 2009, everything has just gone uphill from there. I don't know if it's because we just got older and grew up some or if we both felt like we could always lean on each other- I believe it's a mixture of both. JJ, you truly are such a unique person and I know you feel like people underestimate you often but just know, I know you will achieve everything you want out of life.
I really could go on and on about how much I love you. Even though we have our little weekly arguments (usually about dishes or what to watch on t.v.!), I think these little things have shown us how to choose our battles and how to laugh it off when we get mad over nothing important! I really can't see my life without you in it and I am so happy I will be your wife this September. I know we can get through anything together because of your mellow way and quirky-ness. No matter what challenges life presents us, we both know we are in this together. Just you and me babe ;) No matter where life takes us for jobs or whatever else, I just want to be with you and the little family we created (doggies, duh!) I am so happy to have found such an adventurous outdoor guy like yourself because that's exactly what I need! Forever and ever, amen honey!
Love,

Your soon to be wifey!

Day seven - A picture of the person you do the most crazy things with
So this is JJ's wonderful older sister, Kara. Like I always tell her, I have never met anyone in my whole life like her. Not even a tad bit. She is so unique! When we all go on trips together, most times the boys will go off and do their own thing and Kara and I get to hang out, which I love! When I say do the most "crazy" things together, it's new experiences that I mean. She was there when I first went to Vegas, my first time skiing (which she taught me the back and forth method rather than bombing the hill), first time I went gem mining.. and although JJ and everyone else was there, I feel like she is usually the one I am cracking up with and planning things with. With her, we always try to be on schedule but that doesn't usually happen but that's what adds to the funniest times! I feel like she has always been like a sister to me and after this September rolls around, I will get to have her as one forever and I am so thankful!
